I love to decorate with neutral colors for Fall; my home is mostly grays with shades of blue and green so the muted colors really fit in with my decor style.
I had these candle sticks for at least ten years; they were a deep mahogany color and I didn’t use them very much anymore (leftover from my days of decorating with reds and browns!) To update them I used a coat of white chalk paint, after the white dried I added a little Waverly “Mineral” chalk paint to some areas. I lightly distressed the candlesticks when the paint was dry.

For my table centerpiece I painted orange dollar store pumpkins with chalk paint (white mixed with a blueish green) and nestled them in with some dried hydrangea from my garden. It was so simple to put toghether but I think it’s so pretty.

This is the view of my eat in kitchen all decorated for the season.

I used an antique scale that I found at a flea market for $3 to display gourds I grew in my garden.
